I noticed that around 20% of the items on my Amazon JP wishlist have suddenly become unavailable for international shipping since today, particularly in the hobby section.

It’s disappointing because I was excited to pre-order the Vampire Miku Nendoroid, which is still available. However, now it seems that you can’t place a pre-order for her if you’re outside of Japan.

I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. Previously, all items sold directly by Amazon could be shipped internationally without any problems.

As a few examples, any manufacturer warranty may not be valid; manufacturer service options may not be available; product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be in destination country languages; and the products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed in accordance with destination country's standards, specifications, and labeling requirements.

Amazon.co.jp is currently reevaluating the international shipping of its items, and if it is determined that an item does not meet export standards, we cannot ship it overseas.

Furthermore,there are some other cases the items which used to be available for the international shipping becomes out of service for the international shipping, but the relevant items are available.

As we are reviewing the items regularly, it may become possible to ship overseas in the future.
We would appreciate it if you could check the list regularly.
